Foods that are Red! : )

February is about Valentine’s day,
with heart shaped items and games to play
So we created a list of red foods for you
In case we missed some, can you name a few?

Apples are red,
Strawberries too
Tomatoes and cherries are colorful too
All of these foods are healthy and good
Please give them a try, we think that you should!

In February comes Valentine’s day
With flowers and hearts and poems to say!
As our special gift, we’ve made up a game:
How many Valentine’s foods can you name?

Apples are red, strawberries, too!
And just like tomatoes, they’re healthy for you.
Cherries, peppers, and beets are all red—
Can you think of other red foods left unsaid?
